Our Flower School
As a multi award winning wedding florist and creating and designing hundreds of weddings here in the North East of England, we want to share our experience and our creativity with you in our Flower School.
We will be running specialist workshops, throughout Northumberland and the North East, at specially selected locations.
Group sessions for up to 20 people, floristry for beginners and of course our very popular seasonal themed workshops.
We will be hosting workshops for groups of friends or team building which will be tailored to you.
We will then run a course aimed at challenging the more advanced florist, on big structures and how to be more environmentally friendly, something we are all much more conscious and respectful of.

All classes include a glass of prosecco/tea/coffee.

CURRENT COURSES
Floristry for Beginners Course
Here at The Enchanted Florist we are now ready to offer all of you “budding” florists out there an opportunity to join us on our Beginners
Floristry Course. On this course, we will teach you the basics of what we florists all learn to begin mastering our craft, from buying and how to buy, flower care and how to design… and you will create your very own designs to take home to impress your family and friends.
We can offer this course over 3 days - 10am until 2.30pm –

On these courses we will cover:
Introduction to basic floristry, what to buy and how to buy, tools of the trade and how to condition your precious flowers and foliage, as well as how to care for your blooms after you have created them.
How to make a classic hand tie bouquet, how to gift wrap your design
How to create an eco and environmentally sustainable gift design
How to design and create Flowers for the Home
How to design an environmentally sustainable door wreath – which we adapt for Christmas, Easter, Autumnal or funeral work.
Cost of the course is £425. Which covers your tuition, use of all tools and equipment, flowers, foliage and you can take all of your creations home.

Floristry Taster Session
Welcome to our beautiful world of floral design, a short course to tantalise your creative taste buds. This is a fabulous way to dip your toe in flowery land and often leads to our students enrolling on our advancement courses.
This course will briefly cover: How to condition your precious flowers and foliage, as well as how to care for your blooms after you have created them.
How to make a classic hand tie bouquet, how to gift wrap your design. You will take your gorgeous creation home.
The session will be 2 hours.
Cost is £70
